Wow sucks that there are no trigger warnings in real life.
oh my god thank you for this.
i was one of the student writers that was sourced in the New York Times about trigger warnings, since I did an op-ed about using…
That is some pretty extreme bondage there.
i’ll miss your smug face ;;
Cass + Steph
While I get why people ship them romantically, Cass and Steph will forever be platonic soul mates to me. They’re completely great together and their friendship really does change both Cass and Steph for the better, but it’s specifically so fantastic because of the fact that it’s a friendship — and one forged by abuse survivors, by teen superheroes, and yes by girls. Because those are so, so preciously rare in comics. Or fiction in general, really.
Cass + Jean Paul
Again, I’m going to go with platonic here. Cass really is good at forging these hugely unique friendships that writers drop for no reason. And Jean Paul was the first real friend we see her have. They were kind of like kindred souls themselves.
It would’ve been great to have more with the two of them.
The Riddler - Cliff Chiang
a top ten satanic archetypes list sounds fun :D
I might actually give that one a go. Just wanna wait until I’ve had a chance to read The Wicked + The Divine, because the Lucifer in that one looks like a lot of fun.
